I know almost nothing about tulpas outside of the fact they’re inspired by Tibetan Buddhism, and am curious why they’re on your dni list. Or if it’s something else with the same name.

Hi! I have nothing against tulpamancy in Tibetan Buddhism, unfortunately endogenics are appropriating this practice and using it to claim it's "creating imaginary friends in your head". I have it there because it's weirdly common for the community spaces surrounding my account. Here's some information about Tibetan Buddhism tulpamancy, (https://x.com/1nf3st3d/status/2055287953266511960/photo/1) to put it into some perspective the online appropriation of this started on 4chan and Reddit surrounding fans of My Little Pony who wanted the characters to be sentient beings in their heads These chronically online grown men mainly, used the term 'tulpa' to feel better about the fact they were roleplaying being 'taken over' by 'Pinkie Pie's spirit', and the endogenic community has been defending it and claiming it as a 'spiritual reason why endos are valid'.

You asked for questions about your system, so ill ask a random one— who's the first alter you remember? Anything interesting to say about them? :)

Replied on: April 11, 2026 at 3:20:54 AM

Hi!! Yay tysm, It'd probably have to be Zoe, as the earliest documents I have online are under that alter's identity. She's dormant right now and I don't know much about her, but everything we as a system do is for those who dreamed for a better life, to make it far and survive. One of the biggest issues I have with trying to document older alters is, for example, Zoe was our old host..but I don't know what was her and what was influence from unknown alters. It could have been multiple alters going under the host ID, who knows really! I think I associate 'Zoe' with tropical beach themes though.. music is a huge special interest and I can see different alters in different songs, for her I see Lavender by Vacations and Mysterious Messenger cover by AmaLee !! :]

bpd to did anon April 3, 2026 at 1:01:36 PM

sorry for writing again, but id like to clarify the question wasnt specifically for validating the selfdx itself, as were very confident about our conclusion and do still agree with the bpd dx was more curious if what brought on the self dx, could be considered as a reasonable path youre right that its validation seeking, and i apologise, but its more as a way of coping with the overthinking, while were in the process of finding a psych that is actually knowledgeable on the topic for now all we have access to, is strangers online apologies again, and thank you for your time

Do you have any resources of how age regression works in trauma? I was stuck in toddler age in therapy and i only had memories of my childhoodthen[blurry af]. My therapist suspects did/osdd but i want to rule out everything. I thought it was only madd for a long time honestly

Replied on: April 3, 2026 at 2:05:25 AM

Age regression is a coping mechanism that's commonly caused by PTSD/Trauma , high stress or severe anxiety/depression but it can be a healthy tool for managing emotions! If your therapist suspects OSDDID I'm sure they didn't come to that conclusion for no reason, it's usually the last thing a therapist will want it to be. Best to talk to them about it and rule out everything else together if you're worried.

hello, i'm not sure if this is the right place to ask but do you know any good resources about npd for research purposes? all i've seen is rampant demonization and it's obviously not quite helpful

Replied on: April 3, 2026 at 1:40:18 AM

I don't know any professional papers that aren't demonizing it off the top of my head, but I can always recommend community driven content (forums/videos) as long as you fact check. Good Youtubers you can look into are: Borderliner Notes, The Nameless Narcissist and Heal NPD.

is it fair if the conclusion of osddid came from researching bpd(oficial dx) but it not covering all symptoms and seeing similarities with did and then researching did that covered the missing symptoms? were also basing it off of how weve functioned the past 15 years, since we have ALOT saved online and have the option of looking back

Replied on: April 3, 2026 at 1:18:05 AM

I think the best thing I can tell you is not to put this much emphasis on validation from online strangers, I don't personally know you so I couldn't tell you, mental health comorbidity is extremely complex which is why it's best left up to professionals. I can't tell you if your conclusion is fair or not given I do not know your symptoms or history either, but I do wish you the best of luck regardless and hope you can talk to a psychologist about it if possible.

also im asking about the aspd thing because i'm finally financially stable enough to start saving up for a psychologist or therapist, but dont know if i should do it

It’s not necessarily about whether it’s 'worth it' universally, but whether it aligns with your goals and what you feel would actually benefit you long-term. If you're looking for regulation skills or a clearer understanding of yourself, then it can be useful.. That being said, I’d weigh it up carefully because there's a lot of stigma, both socially and in clinical settings. I’d also be cautious about who you choose to share your suspicions or diagnosis with because that will drastically affect personal relationships and how professionals view you (usually very negatively).

I don't want to see self harm content on my home page, you can have an ED and not encourage others to join in. Deeper SHED community is practically an online cult, idc if people disagree. I've seen how bad it can get and I'm not interested. Don't repost or follow me tysm <3
